This post is a note to selves… Next year when taking photographs of our annual Turkey Day Disc Golf (TDDG) we should remember the following:
- use a tripod
- use the flash for single shots only
- primarily use burst mode
- shoot in raw, unless you want to take longer burst (my 20D can do about 6 raws before pausing, but I know with jpegs it can do more)
- keep the sun behind the photographer
- get shots from in front and behind the thrower
- keep shooting until the disc stops
- start shooting as the thrower winds up
- keep spectators from clustering behind the thrower, unless they are posing for the picture
Any more that I missed? The I bolded the critical ones.
