These are a slight modification on the traditional Perszyk peanut butter balls recipe (made with natural peanut butter rather than Jiffy or Skippy or some other artery-clogging partially hydroginated peanut butter). The tiny ball was made for RKDy. I can hardly wait for the PNB ball Challenge. Now why are we waiting until 2011? Ever since Riley mentioned the possibility of going out to Washington State this summer with the obligatory trip to Mount Rainier, I can’t stop thinking about going back to Rainier. So who wants to hike up to Camp Muir? No permit is required to do this. The view is fabulous. I didn’t get all the way there last time. The last part of the hike is on snowpack so we’d need the proper boots and some conditioning prior to going there. So who’s game?
Today Arcadia had her 2-month check-up. Yep, that’s right, she’s 2 months old! Her current stats are 14 lbs 3.4 oz, 23.25 inches long, and head circumference of 16.75 inches. She’s definitely growing! Anyway, that’s not the story here. The story is how Arcadia peed 4 times while at the doctor’s office, twice without a diaper on. She peed on the scale while she was being weighed, then again while we were putting her diaper back on, and again when the doctor removed her diaper to check her hip movement, and a final time before getting her immunization shots. She missed both the doctor and nurse with her urine, but did make a mess everywhere! |
