Peanut Butter Balls 101

pnb-balls-small

These are a slight modification on the traditional Perszyk peanut butter balls recipe (made with natural peanut butter rather than Jiffy or Skippy or some other artery-clogging partially hydroginated peanut butter). The tiny ball was made for RKDy.  I can hardly wait for the PNB ball Challenge. Now why are we waiting until 2011?

I think Tysen wants to give Amelia and I a fair chance by giving us a few years to try out our own PB recipes. Well, and we definitely have to wait until its safe for RKDy to eat PB! I can’t wait for the challenge, so I need to start getting some practice in!

BUT, will Arcadia be an objective judge?!?! If she is reared, so to speak, on Kathryn PNB balls, then she will naturally prefer those. And Tysen and Riley may well harbor some built-in bias as well, having grown up on classic Perszyk PNBs. We may need to expand the judge panel. Other Serebins or Perszyk or friends of the family. Just a thought…..

It is great to see Mother so active on the blog! It will be a blind taste test to reduce the chance for bias.
