With the wonderful weather we had last weekend and the fact that it was the peak season for the cherry blossoms, we took Arcadia into DC to view them. (The other motivation for going into DC was the fact that Tysen had an ultimate frisbee game on the polo fields.) It was also my first time into DC to see the cherry blossoms around the tidal basin. I’ve seen cherry blossoms before, but it is definitely worth seeing them in DC around the tidal basin, even with the crowds. Here’s a photo of Arcadia enjoying both her summer bonnet and the cherry blossoms.

cute picture. Was funny to see the thumb in the picture holding her up! Wow, so many cherry blossoms! It must have been beautiful! Pink bonnet & pink shirt – I guess you have given up on the no-pink resolution!
This onesie was special, as it’s an Ultimate onesie, so its cool that its pink! Plus, there is a limited color selection for girl clothes, so yes, Arcadia does wear pink. But she also wears a lot of blue, green, yellow, purple, red, black, etc. on other occasions.
