Yesterday I observed my lizard friend transformed. I ran to get my camera. Just in time I observed somewhat that surprised and shocked me. Here Mr. Lizard is looking at me right before the encounter with…… To be continued….
Arcadia hasn’t figured out crawling, although she’s starting to get the hang of pulling her knees under herself and sticking her but in the air. So instead, she has learned to scoot. Since she can sit unattended, we will sit her on the carpet with the boppy pillow behind her incase she falls backwards, which she will do on occasion and put toys in front of her to play with. Well, sometimes she knocks the toy farther away or wants something else off the floor and between bending forward and sitting back up, she manages to scoot along the floor. It’s adorable to watch this routine and I’m always amazed at how far she scoots! ![]() She started sitting in the pillow. Even since taking this picture, she has scooted farther! Guess we can’t leave her alone in a room anymore unless she’s strapped down! So, everyone has been saying they think Arcadia looks like me. I, on occasion, have thought that too, but then looking back at my baby photos, I don’t really see it. I think Arcadia looks like a chubby Tysen, although she does seems to have my mouth shape (slightly down-turned lips), hairline, and eye color. But, you don’t have to agree with me, we scanned some photos of Tysen and me as babies, so you be the judge (first row: me, second row: Arcadia, last row: Tysen). |
