Lizard Update

My lizard friend continues to grow his tail. Here’s an updated photo taken during this last week. I focused on the body and tail, so the eye is out of focus, but there is good detail in the tail! Ha!

Finally Got a Macro Lens

I found a used Tamron AF 90mm f/2.8 1:1 macro lens for my Nikon SLR on Amazon. I saved a ridiculous amount of money ($600) and now have a lens I really like. It’s not perfect, but it is fun to play with. We’re lucky we live where we do, as all I need to do is walk out on to the back deck and find lots of interesting creatures. Here’s a “friend” who I see frequently. He’s currently in the process of regenerating his tail. I’ll keep you informed of his progress.
